Luxaflex’s new roller blind collection combines functionality with that all-important ‘wow’ factor
2010 will be an exciting time with more people looking to make the most of their current homes and really maximise their appeal. It’s important that a window blind not only has the ‘wow’ factor aesthetically but that it works from a practical perspective too. As on the catwalks, vibrant shades such as greens, yellows and purples are making a splash in interiors. For the more adventurous, choose from an array of decorative accessories to personalise your blind such as a stylish tassel, metal rings, attractive bottom bar or even an ornamental pattern made from Crystallized – Swarovski Elements! The new collection includes over 400 fabrics, many of which are exclusive, including silk-look Tabris; textured Scenery; metal-look Archive; and Sultan and Omey jacquards. All fabrics are available in a wide selection of colours and a number of fabric treatments including Dustblock (dust and dirt repellent) and Topar Plus (heat and light reflective), which help protect the blinds from day-to-day wear and tear as well as providing specific benefits.

An assortment of rich and unusual fabrics; the resurgence of jacquards and burn-out designs; and a new emphasis on decorative bottom bars and tassels to personalise your blind are the key trends that characterise the new roller blind collection from Luxaflex.
There are also several special fabrics in the collection including Trevira CS, which is flame-retardant, and GreenScreen Earthcare, which is fully compostable at the end of its useful life, as well as a separate section of room-darkening black-out fabrics ideal for bedrooms.
