Employee Foundation of the VKR group has presented ‘The Villum Kann Rasmussen Award’ to Bill Jeffcoate of Faber Blinds, Northampton.
Employee Foundation of the VKR Group makes the award on the birth date of group founder, Villum Kann Rasmussen to a select number of employees who have made a significant contribution to the group objective of being a ‘model company.’ 13 people received the award this year on 23rd January. Bill has worked for Faber for 33 years as a production supervisor. Managing director Tobin James said: “There are many people in Faber who deserve this award. “The key qualities that are considered are commitment, professionalism, innovation, loyalty, initiative and helpfulness and Bill has displayed these in abundance over the years. He deserves this award wholeheartedly.” Receiving his award of a gold watch, diploma and gold company badge from Tobin James and surrounded by colleagues Bill said: “I was overwhelmed and surprised when I heard that I had received the award. “It’s a fantastic feeling when your work is recognised and I would like to thank the company and the group for this award.”
