Broadview has expanded its product range in response to  the ‘staycation’ trend

Holidaying at home (“staycations”) became increasingly popular during the summer, with many families sending foreign breaks packing due to the global recession and the strength of the euro.

As a result, sales of awnings have soared at Broadview and due to this increase in demand, Broadview has extended its awning portfolio with the introduction of a range of the latest and innovative Brustor awning systems.

Exclusive to Broadview, the B28 Prestige awning is equipped with standard windclass 3 arms, which means the awning can withstand winds reaching up to a force six. Integrated into the elbow of each arm is an LED light system and the awning is available up to a width of 13 metres and a projection of up to 3.5 metres. The standard remote control operation allows easy functioning of the awning.

The B29 retractable awning is a stylish variation of the B28 Prestige and has a unique double slope arm. Once the awning is open the arm drops halfway with an angle of 20 degrees and this provides an ideal solution for when the sun is low.

The B127 Pergola is a system with front poles and wall fixation and is an ideal residential or commercial awning with a maximum projection of 5 metres. This awning can also be used on a conservatory roof.

Ian Pratt, managing director of Broadview, said: “These awnings are a great addition to our range of custom-made products which includes canopies, blinds, parasols and promo-barriers. The awnings can be designed in any size or colour to complement a home or commercial premises and the not only serve as a shelter to enjoy alfresco dining, but also acts as signage for a business. With a UK network of more than 40 fully trained dealers, an extensive product range plus a first-class measuring and installation service, Broadview provides a ‘one stop shop’ for customers.”
