Orchestra Max: The latest-generation awning fabric, self-cleaning and multifunctional

A product of nanotechnology, Orchestra Max awning fabric is exclusive to Dickson: a latest-generation technical material boasting self-cleaning, waterproof and infrared reflective properties. Its new Permaclean treatment also gives it water-repellent qualities with the dirt sliding off it in a reproduction of the famous lotus effect. Starting from 2009, Orchestra Max will gradually replace the current Orchestra TT range, Dickson’s flagship product for professionals.
Self-cleaning The nanoparticles applied on the fabric assemble to form an extremely dense protective layer that keeps dirt on the surface. Simple rinsing is sufficient to clean the fabric.
Waterproof Orchestra Max fabric is coated on one side with an anti-fungal, UV-resistant acrylic resin, reinforcing its waterproof properties.
Infra-red reflecting Incorporated in the coating, infra red-reflective pigments repel direct solar radiation, prevent the fabric from heating up and thus allow the temperature beneath the awning to be reduced by several degrees.
Three major benefits for the user: 1 – Ease of maintenance: rain or simple rinsing with water is sufficient to rid the fabric of dirt and give it back its ‘as-new’ appearance. 2 – Waterproof qualities: enabling its user to take advantage of their terrace all year round, without having to take in the awning at the first sign of rain. 3 – Thermal comfort: infrared radiation, a direct source of heat in summer, is reflected by the fabric.
The ‘greenhouse effect’ beneath the awning disappears.
A multifunctional fabric, Orchestra Max is particularly suitable for permanent installations with high exposure to climate changes and pollution. It is designed primarily for retail, hotels and catering outfits. It is also a ‘state-of-the-art’ solution for particularly demanding home owners.
