Luxaflex UK has announced it is the  exclusive distributor for the complete range of Dickson fabrics

Luxaflex Variosun - allows adjustment of the awning down in several stages

Luxaflex UK is now the exclusive distributor for the complete range of Dickson fabrics, including the Orchestra and SunWorker ranges.

With over 190 designs, the Orchestra range is said to beone of the largest ranges of awning fabrics currently available on the market. Using an ultra-resistant high tech material, the Orchestra collection provides unrivalled performance, incorporating UV protection, light filter and natural air conditioning. Luxaflex will be also introducing the new Alto Flame Retardant and the new Orchestra Max self cleaning fabric.

A new addition to the Dickson SunWorker range is the SunWorker Cristal open weaved fabric which has translucent PVC backing, making it water resistant and also Flame Resistant to M1 specification. It is available in seven colours and in a width of 137cm.

All Dickson fabrics come with a new ten year guarantee, giving you and your customer peace of mind. Luxaflex can also offer next day delivery on cut lengths and rolls from the standard range of orchestra fabrics, as long as the order is received before 1pm.

Luxaflex UK offer complete awning systems covered in the Dickson fabrics, manufactured in the factory in Birmingham and have an exciting new range of systems which were launched in March 2009.

Aside from the standard range of awnings, Luxaflex also supplies some interesting variations for special situations including:
Variosun: an angled awning structure that allows adjustment of the awning down in several stages over the window area, making it perfect for protecting furnishings from the sun.

Via Grande: a freestanding, double-sided unit which doesn’t need to be attached to a wall, meaning this awning system can be moved position to where it is most needed.

Orvietto Cross Arm: Another problem that can now be overcome is where space is at a premium and the width of the awning restricts the projection of a folding arm. The new Orvieto cross arm utilises a mechanism which allows an awning with 4.1m arms to be installed in a space only 2.7m wide. All Luxaflex awnings have a host of sun and wind activated motorised options available  or can be controlled via a manual wand.  There is also the added option of an under awning ‘Lightbox’.
