For the second time in succession, sps-cleaning-systems has been awarded the sought-after Innovation Prize of the R+T trade fair in Stuttgart
Sps-cleaning-systems' novel, patented cleaning system TFR 2200 has been awarded the Innovation Prize 2009 of the worldwide largest trade fair for shutters, gates and sun shadings, the R+T in Stuttgart.
With this award, the jury recognized a development which for the first time allows the efficient cleaning of panel blinds, roller blinds, plissé blinds, large-scale sun shadings and screen panels with automatically rotating brushes. In 2006, sps-cleaning-systems had already been awarded this prize for the mobile cleaning system for external blinds – AJR professional.
Due to the frequently sensitive coatings and different types of material and forms, the processing of technical, textile systems was particularly problematic during the cleaning process. TFR 2200 is the first system worldwide which can clean such sun shading equipments bend-free and dimensionally stable. In addition to the convincing technique, also the new market potential this system offers to the industry was decisive for the jury. "A clear trend could be derived from the many conversations we had at the trade fair: the entire maintenance area of the maintenance and repair of sun shadings is growing. And the cleaning is a mandatory component in this context." said Thomas Ehrmann, co-owner of sps-cleaning-systems. "Both dealers and manufacturers confirmed to us at the trade fair that this service is an absolute must if a premium service and a first-class product should be provided to the customer. For us, this second award of the Innovation Prize is a confirmation of our business policy we have been following for many years." said Thomas Ehrmann.
As the cleaning does not belong to the actual core business of shutter and sun shading technicians, however, and as a special ‘cleaning know how’ is required in addition to the technique, sps-cleaning-systems offers a combination of services. Qualified companies from the sun shading cleaning industry allow for the comprehensive and smooth cooperation throughout Germany. The assembly, maintenance and repair can be carried out by sun shading technicians and cleaning by the specialist for the cleaning of sun shadings.
"The next step will be to introduce such a concept abroad. We already had first conversations with potential project partners at the R+T trade fair. For those companies which position in time, this opens a market with a large potential." said Thomas Ehrmann. The new TFR 2200 TFR system adds a further product to the machine program of sps-cleaning-systems.
Consequently, the portfolio of cleaning technique has been supplemented and completed in such a way that now, sps-cleaning-systems is the sole provider worldwide which can offer the entire cleaning technique for practically all kinds of sun shadings.
