Global's new G-motor
Thursday, 01 March 2007

Global's new G-motor is a high performance 35mm diameter and  6 Nm/220V tubular engine available in both a simple version and with an incorporated RF receiver.

The simple version is a reliable and competitive motor with mechanical end limits, but the interesting motor is certainly the one with the radio frequency feature. This motor was created for blinds and shutters and is supplied with no set limits and has an allowance of 4 minutes of continued operation which, if used for all of its extent, would guarantee blinds with a height of over 10metres drop.

If the blinds have physical stops (cassette blinds, shutters, etc) the motor recognises a limit when there is an obstacle and memorises the position itself by actually setting the limit. Otherwise end limits are electronically set in a very easy way through the remote control.

There are two types of remote controls: the basic one has a single channel and matches the existing handsets available on the market with the additional feature of being able to program the end limits of the RF motor.

The new 24-remote control which is a radio transmitter able to command up to 24 single channels, group up to 8 channels together and group up to 8 groups together. It has also the ability to program 6 weekly timers allowing you to have automatic commands at the selected hour and day of the week. The screen of this remote control is unique and informs the user of the various options.
