French awning company Mitjavila has continued to grow over the last few years with an expansion of its operations in France, Spain and Portugal as well as in the UK. Nearly 100% of the company's sales are designed and produced in its own factories. Mitjavila extrudes aluminium, powder coats or anodises all the parts, and uses its own foundry and injection moulding facilities for aluminium and pvc components. All assembly is carried out in its own workshops to ensure conformity to European standards and to guarantee a high standard of finish. A full extruded aluminium service is also available for those customers wishing to design their own products. Made to measure awnings are supplied in seven days while components and extrusions can be supplied in 2-5 days direct from Mitjavila UK. Following the establishment of its new distribution centre at Hailsham in East Sussex, Mitjavila UK Ltd has now expanded its product range and greatly increased the amount of stock held in the UK. This enables the company to supply its extensive network of trade distributors throughout Britain and Ireland more quickly and effectively, ultimately giving customers a greater choice, faster delivery and better all-round service and support. Mitjavila's new distribution centre specialises in the supply of all awning components to the trade, allowing them to produce made-to-measure awnings for customers throughout the British Isles. One of several key developments, that will have obvious benefits, is that all Dutch blind components are now stocked in the UK and are available for immediate delivery. An exciting new range of free-standing domestic awnings are also kept in stock at the new centre. Available for immediate delivery in a choice of two colours, these are 3.62m wide and project up to 2.0m on each side. They can be ordered singly or supplied on palettes of 12 and other colours can be supplied to order.
