Probably the one defining feature of today's office designs is the huge banks of windows used in their construction. This great expanse of glass is a perfect scenario for Louvolite's latest achievement - Perfect Fit. Portable and robust, this stylish window blind system is unique both in design and application. The blind is self-contained within a rigid aluminium frame, which is then secured into the window recess using a set of discreet window brackets. The brackets are housed securely between the rubber seal and the glass on upvc units and the results are phenomenal; 20 seconds to fit each blind, so you can imagine the time and energy saved on a multiple installation. There are no holes to drill during installation and the blinds can be removed easily for cleaning. Perfect Fit's unique installation makes them ideal for tilt and turn windows and skylight windows. The blinds fit neatly onto the frame, look stunning, but will not impede the operation of the window, moving with the window as it opens and closes.

Further applications for Perfect Fit are being explored and developed specifically for roller blinds and shaped windows. Irregular shaped windows such as the triangle, rhombus and trapezium, prevalent in conservatory roofs and office apexes will be able to enjoy all of the benefits of this new system. 

Panel blinds are another option to consider for inclusion in an office brief. The style of the panel blind makes it particularly suitable for larger windows, expanses of office space as well as patio and sliding doors where a large recess can to be 'dressed to impress' in chic and stylish fabrics and woven woods. Install the system into the roof of a room or open plan office and you have a stunning room divider that provides the flexibility of creating either a large space when open or creating a little privacy when closed. When used at the window, the large fabric panels stack neatly behind one another when open to allow maximum light into the room. When closed the panels create a complete fabric landscape that provides superior shading and increased privacy with a strong aesthetic statement.

 If an enclosed roller system is required Louvolite have a choice of fascias to choose from. System 40 & 45 were specifically designed for commercial installations. Made from extruded aluminium and symmetrical in design, this robust cassette will fit neatly into the interior layout of any modern office or workplace. The fascia is fitted face fix or top fix into the window cavity and will accommodate both the standard and new 40+ and 45+ roller blind systems.  New for 2006 is the Spring Assist option for System 45. Developed to make light work of adjusting larger roller blinds this ingenious spring device is part of the end cap and provides commercial contractors with a second option to offer their customers.

The new System 32 Cassette was developed to meet both commercial and domestic uses. The principle feature of the System 32 Cassette is its sophisticated appearance, a rounded, softer look rather than the more usual angular fascia design. The new fully integrated system is available in white, with either a plain or profile fascia, giving the option to co-ordinate or compliment the interior design scheme.

Monocommand, as the name implies has been designed to allow the operator to open, close and adjust the louvres of the vertical window blind through a single process and is yet another development to add to Louvolite's range of child safety products. Monocommand is a wand-based operating system that is attached directly onto the blind's headrail. One of the main advantages of the Monocommand is that it offers an option to install a chainless/ cordless vertical window blind in an environment where infants and children may be present. Robust, reliable and easy to use, Monocommand can be integrated into Louvolite's market leading Vogue headrail system and Maestro vertical headrail system through a simple conversion kit which contains all of the relevant parts and instructions. 

In the age of convenience the project brief may warrant an automated blind for ease of use and practicality and again Louvolite have the right tools for the job. The automated range is supplied in two options; one for vertical and venetian blinds, while option two operates roller blinds.  The control system for vertical and venetian blinds is compact in design and fits neatly into the Slimline vertical blind headrail or the 25mm venetian headrail. The venetian blind can be installed between double glazed units to maximise office space more effectively.  The system is operated by remote control that adjusts the blinds smoothly from a distance of up to 8 metres and can be installed very easily with no unsightly wires or logistical problems to overcome. 

Louvolite's motorised roller blind system has raised the standard of installation and operation of both commercial and domestic roller blind systems to a new level. The motorised units have been designed for both System 40 and 45, which are amongst the best selling roller blind systems on the world market. The result is a winning combination that produces a strong, robust shading system that will carry the most demanding sizes of screens and fabrics. Available as either single or multiple units, the motorised systems comes complete with robust motors, patented brackets and can be easily installed into any window recess, neatly and discreetly.
