Global International is reaping the benefits of its new Customer Services department thanks to the flow of information it has created with customers
“With all the daily doom and gloom surrounding the financial climate in not only the UK, but worldwide, it is essential to maintain a positive attitude and to be pro-active in the marketplace.
“In the current difficult market, where so many companies are offering similar, if not identical products, making the extra effort to stand out from the crowd is a must. At times like these, looking after your customers and providing the best possible service is essential.
“Here at Global International we have recognised this, and to this end have set up a brand new Customer Services department, with staff working closely with the sales team to ensure that each customer gets the best possible service, before, during and after the sale. One of the crucial developments is that each customer has been appointed a dedicated Customer Service Representative to maintain regular contact and understand fully their business needs. An apparent benefit to this system is that the customer is always kept informed of any new offers and promotions, and so can be confident that not only are they getting the best level of service but also the best prices. This level of service, we believe, is unrivalled in the market place.
“Over the last six months we have put resources in to ensuring that the department staff are regularly trained on products and systems to ensure that the service that Global provides is as efficient and helpful as possible. Any enquiry, whether it be advice on product ranges or availability, technical queries or quotes will be handled by the department making sure that that the all-important rapport and relationship between Global and its customers is strong and healthy.
“Along with this major push towards strong Customer Service, we are also extending our existing product ranges, to ensure that our offering to the market place is stronger than ever. Most notably we have added four new colours to our ever-popular Wood Express range of cut down timber. These colours, namely Alabaster, Hazel, Canadian Maple and Tuscan Oak, are already proving to be worthwhile and popular additions.
“Recently we have also extended our contract offering so that we now have a full and complete proposal for the contract market. With a vast range of fire retardant fabrics, rigid pvc and motorised solutions, we can comply with even the most demanding specifications. Our comprehensive portfolio is demonstrated in our industry standard Contract GT Folder, providing the customer with the information at their fingertips.
“To ensure that Global International continues to be considered a supplier of choice we are proud to be introducing two completely new and exclusive products into the market place. Firstly, our range of Pulleys and Tassels enables any blind to be customised to suit any taste. With weights in wood, acrylic, plexi-glass and leather and a range more than 100 pieces strong we can offer the perfect individual finish to any bespoke product.
“We are also currently the only stockist in the UK of String Blinds, a new and stylish product on the market, offering a modern twist on the traditional vertical or panel blind. An extensive range of colours and panel sizes is available to suit the taste of our customers.
