 Reflecting what Arena calls a growing demand for this ‘wonderfully rustic but coolly contemporary window dressing’, Dimensions by Arena has increased its range of Woodweave blinds to include five new fabrics and introduced eight braid tape colours for a really up to the minute look.“We’ve seen quite a rise in popularity for this type of blind,” said Sarah Quilliam, head of product design. “Although essentially quite a natural look, we’re finding that more people are mixing it in with quite minimalist schemes to add a more laid-back feel. The trend for monochrome colour schemes never seems to go away which is why we’ve updated our range to include black and white painted finishes in two of the fabrics.” Made from poplar slats that have been woven together to create a structured look that blocks out the light, Sharan is one of the new fabrics in the range. Available in natural and white and black painted finishes, it gives greater privacy than other fabrics in the collection – making it an ideal choice for bedrooms and conservatories. The other new fabrics in the range are Jasmin white and black. The new fabrics and tape options are available from January 2008.
