Spring green set to be seen
Thursday, 07 August 2008

Nature is alive with spring green – a colour that is mirrored in this year’s fashion trends. Light, subtle shades of green the colour of fresh buds, at times with a hint of yellow or in crisp apple tones – these are the unmistakable trend colours being seen.

Junkers & Müllers has seized the opportunity and selected these very colours from its collection to recompose and present them in a range of quality grades. Highly transparent fabrics such as Venezia meet denser repp materials like Santiago while structured fabrics such as Palma and Rings meet base quality grades like Carina and Santiago. For a start, Junkers & Müllers can offer eight different shades of green in Carina alone.

Even prints are represented with puff prints as well as pigment prints in a range of designs. The entire spectrum of internal sun shading is covered from roller blinds and pleated blinds through to panel tracks and vertical blinds. Most of Junkers & Müllers’s quality grades are coordinated, enabling the combination of printed with plain coloured fabrics or roller blinds with panel tracks in coordinated shades. The company says number of possible combinations is limitless.

This spring, green is undoubtedly the height of fashion. But green is also a trend-setting colour statement for internal sun shading, forming a bridge between the interior living space and nature outside. The current prevailing green tones are especially suitable for creating interesting colour accents for the most varied living ambiences.
