At this year's Heimtextil expo in January, Junkers & Mullers was awarded the Prize for Innovation by architecture magazine AIT for its new roller blind fabric Carisma Print. With this new fabric, JM is has taken a new stylistic path with the cool, metallic look of the non-woven fabric combining with an extensive tendril design or with small, strictly geometrical boxes, setting new fashion trends.

Carisma Print combines interesting opposites in one roller blind material. According to a spokesperson for the company:  the silver-metallic shimmering non-woven fabric is printed with a classic tendril design in charcoal. A cool statement encounters playful forms and ensures an interesting visual effect in the window.

The non-woven fabric is also available in a geometrically patterned design. The small, linear squares especially coming into their own when printed in white on the shimmering fabric. The metallic colouring creates a sophisticated and aesthetic look. The semi-transparent non-woven structure of the fabric ensures visual and anti-glare cover in the window.

This unusual, cool and highly modern look is created by aluminising the fabric. This, in combination with the extensive tendril print and the puristic boxes has resulted in two designs, creating a true highlight for modern living ambience whether for the home or contract business. The fabric can be supplied in widths up to 200cm.

Each year, AIT magazine awards its Prize for Innovation for  Textiles and Contract Business. A jury made up of architects and interior designers evaluates the submitted products with JM notching up a third win in this category.
