Terrace Awnings PDF Print E-mail

Large projections in front of restaurants can be achieved with terrace awnings.  They are electrically operated and the blind cover is retained in structural side guides.  Tension on the cloth is maintained by tension springs in the front rail.  Projections of up to 6 metres are possible with cloth lengths up to 8 metres allowing the cover to drop down past the front of the projection.

A free-standing system can provide shade to an area away from a building structure.  Two foldaway type blinds are mounted either side of a steel frame.  The blinds are gear operated and retracted with a cranked winding handle.  A top board covers both blinds when retracted.  These blinds are ideally suited to restaurant and recreation areas providing a large shaded area without the need for structural fixing.
