 Bend It says it has developed a way of bending Louvolite’s ‘Vogue’ vertical blind System.
It is said to be one of the best looking vertical blind systems on the market with its naturally curved features and enclosed end caps. People said it couldn’t be done but with Dereck Stagg’s and Adrian Pemberton’s 20 years experience of working in the blind industry, together they say they have perfected the process. This family run business is based in North Wales but has clients across the country.

“We decided to bend Louvolite’s ‘Vogue’ system first as we knew that if we only bent ‘slimline’, the only way we could enter the market would be on price and this was not the way to go.” commented Dereck Stagg.

They have just completed the ‘slimline’ system as well so an option based on price is now available. But even these seemingly low cost items are made with genuine Louvolite components; not the cheap imported ones that won’t stand the test of time.
Bend It would love to challenge anyone to give them a system that they couldn’t bend – as long as fixed geared travellers are available as this is very important when bending vertical blinds.

Bend It have been carrying out a targeted marketing campaign to specific businesses in the UK and alerting them to their unique service. Within the first few months of trading the company has already secured business with a number of key companies from Blackpool all the way to Portsmouth and many in-between.

The new product has dramatically increased its workload as demand for is high. Bend It has just improved its factory capability to expand into previously disused areas to cope with the level of business coming through the door. When asked, Adrian commented: “In these ‘hard times’ it is great to be doing so well. We’re focussed on keeping our delivery times to within seven working days.

“Our aim is to supply the trade. So if you own a shop that sells blinds, then we want to deal with you... we want to work with you, supporting you and providing you with a unique product that your customers will love.
