Innovation, simplicity and style are key to Cosiflor Pleated Blinds’ product development, which has recently undergone an intensive period of development with a number of new products coming on to the market.
Night and Day is effectively two pleated blinds in one system, but joined using a new floating middle rail. The fabric in the top half is a blackout or dimout, while below the middle rail is a transparent pleated blind. Fixed at the top and the bottom, the user can choose between all blackout or all transparent, or indeed can have the floating middle rail in any position to give exactly the shading and privacy they require. Raising or lowering the sections place the required fabric on display while the pleats of the unused half are neatly bunched at the top or bottom. Cosiflor offers a choice of 270 fabrics in a huge range of colours, with over 30 per cent of the fabrics new to the UK market this year. The 270 fabrics are available in four different transparencies, transparent, translucent, dimout and blackout. The blackouts are part of the new Domus collection, available in white, cream, yellow, orange, red and beige – all plain polyester with a flocked white back. If dimout is preferred, a new collection in eight pastel colours – white, cream, beige, peach, pink, blue, green and grey – have been introduced, all Perlex backed and flame retardant. These will be ideally suited to hotels, offices and other corporate venues.

Of particular interest to the UK market is the Night and Day pleated blind which has been developed in conjunction with UK customers. It is said to be ideal for bedrooms where the two fabric choices offer light and dark according to the time of day, but both still offering the privacy required.
