The Vistamatic Vision Panel range has established a 20-year pedigree in offering ‘security, privacy and protection, in many diferent sectors.

The company says the range has been designed to provide optimum safety and observation for any interior door, is currently employed across a broad spectrum of high-security environments for clients such as the MOD, NHS and the prison service.
The company says it has now established a 20-year pedigree in offering security, privacy and protection in hospitals and clinics, laboratories, prisons, banks schools and airports.

Designed to allow discreet surveillance without disturbance, the panels enable controlled access to and from areas where extra surveillance may be required. Vistamatic Vision Panels operate on a simple mechanism: three layers on a glass sheet, featuring opaque horizontal bands, are placed on top of each other within a single panel frame. The centre sheet is designed to move freely, and when lifted via a simple hand or elbow – operated lever mechanism or knurled knob, the view through the vision panel is obscured.

When the panel is in the closed position, it can indicate that privacy is required within, so people wishing to enter would know to knock and wait instead of walking straight in. Panels can also be left in the open position if desired, allowing clear vision into and out of the room. The company says it provides a practical solution for any environment where opening of doors should be kept to a minimum, or where it would be an advantage to see before entering or leaving a room

The adaptable panels come in a wide variety of designs and glazing materials to suit specific locations. Customised operating handles can be fitted on both sides, on one side only, or with a key restricted operating system for added security and safety.
