Ballauff says Bayadère is unique to the market and is made up of very delicate, fine, high quality bamboo reed which has great shine. Available in 6 pastel colourways of citrus hues, Mediterranean blues to greens and topical mauves as well as offering two warm neutrals. The variation in the reed size is due to the depth build up of colour. The milky stripes are available in 180cm width - 20 metre length rolls – the first time this has been offered in the UK. The company says the introduction of this exciting range is to combine the natural effects and beauty of good quality bamboo together with a modern interpretation of colour and tonal mixture. The Ballauff Privacy lining is a natural fabric lining sewn to the back of the woven wood material which still allows very diffused light to pass through the wooden reeds whilst guaranteeing total privacy. This is part of the made to measure offer to customers. Solarwood was recently launched successfully throughout Europe and the UK and utilises a reflective pearlised coating applied to one side of the pinoleum blind which can substantially reduce the heat absorption into the room. The coating can be applied to either natural pinoleum or to any of the colours in the Ballauff Collection or indeed any of the bespoke colours supplied exclusively to customers as well as the 120 coloured finishes available through the Little Green Paint Company. The result is an enhanced reflective surface that will cut the amount of heat transmitted through the blind and give an increased shading effect, cutting out further unwanted glare.
